So quick!
So I’ve been working on a few new things that I can’t post yet.
But maybe soon.
Got some new work situations, and new projects lined up.
But in the meantime, here is a picture from a shoot last week with Josh Owen.

For Easter Sunday, my church was launching a new series called Awaken The Dawn. This video played behind a translucent “Awaken The Dawn” logo as everyone entered and left.
Cole NeSmith wrote the concept and made it all happen.
And I got to play around with the 7D and some rented lenses and edit it in FCP using Magic Bullet to do some quick coloring.
All in all, it was a lot of fun.
Until my rental Xterra got stuck in the sand.
Laaame.
On Sunday I had to do a small shoot at Adrenaline Films here in Orlando.
During some downtime I got to meet Mark Staubach, whose done videos for Lupe Fiasco, Appleseed Cast, and Gym Class Heroes.
I think the video he was working on may have be a secret, but I did get this picture of the dude at work.
A few months ago I got the chance to help shoot a video for Ocala band, A Day to Remember.
I got to work with Dan Dobi, who directed it / Drew Russ / Alex Purifoy and a whole bunch of others.
All in all, it was a good 7D day and a whole lot of fun.
I’m so incredibly thankful for the work I get to do.
This has been a big few months for me. Videos on GMC, CMT, and now MTV. What’s next?
A) I’m mostly an idiot. Which we arrive at this conclusion after watching the behind the scenes video by Angie Myers from the rap video I worked on a couple weeks ago.

B) I will always get excited about great smiles and good light. Always.
Last week I rented the Canon 65mm MP-E Lens from The Lens Depot here in Orlando.
I only really got to play with it for about an hour, but here is what that hour produced.
The tiny world is kind of fascinating, and gross all at once.

So this weekend I traveled up to the great state of South Carolina to shoot a video for Blood and Ink band, and long time dearest bros Divide The Sea .
Here’s a sample of what you can expect.

With more of those here, from JoAnna Webb.
Aaron Moller, let us borrow some lights for the performance footage, and also shot a little BTS video. What a guy!
This video should be the sweetest, and may or may not be finished so soon.
I’ll keep you posted.
Be sure to check those dudes out if you are into metal.
In February I volunteered some time to shoot a promo video for Project Homeless Connect .
I approached Mancel Lindsey and asked if he would be interested in doing some motion graphics for the it, and he jumped at it.
Said and done, I’m not sure I could be happier with how this video turned out.
Shot on the 7D, Edited and colored in FCP.
I don’t know Mancel’s specs. As far as I know it was all magic.

Currently enjoying a bit of a day off.
Gearing up to shoot a rap video tomorrow with Nick Ruff.
And next week should be a quite epic Divide the Sea shoot.
But in the meantime, try to lurk me out in this Behinds the Scenes video for the Phil Vassar video, “Everywhere I Go.”
