Just for fun
I haven’t really just played with video in a while.
But I did yesterday.
Leftover B-Roll from the SC wedding, and I randomly listened to Mum.
Take a deep breath.

Some of my most solid friends in SC are in a band calledThe Lilies and the Sparrows ,and play some incredible music.
They also had an incident of sorts at their show last night.
Which you can watch here.
My friends, I have been lurking on this man named Dallas Clayton for some time.
He writes great things that I read, and recently wrote a book.
Now, he has a foundation that I want you to know about.
Awesome Book Tour from Dallas Clayton on Vimeo.

Scientist have been saying this would happen for years.
But who actually believed them? Quacks and Apocalyptic fanatics.
But here we are, news feeds and all.
The entire world, awake just watching.
…and waiting.
7 minutes left.
Cameras to Heaven.
Advertisements and praises sang for the installations that will now keep us “safe and sane.” That will now help us live, grow.
It seems everyone is with those they love most.
6 minutes left.
Some seem to be preparing for Armageddon. The end of life itself.
Others just stand in shock, forgetting everything their parents ever told them. Staring.
How did I spend the last day you ask? The Ocean.
My friends and I dug our feet into the sand and squinted our eyes tight to feel the warmth all around us as long as we could.
4 minutes left.
Satellite images from deepest heaven.
Broadcast of riots.
And the sounds of children playing in sprinklers.
2 minutes left.
We’ve got pictures of rises and sets.
We’ve got videos and films of the sea, a woman’s golden hair brought to life.
Books, tapes, stories of its greatness.
But today it’s actually over.
1 minute left.
As the world panics on the brink of the death of a giant, my friends and I…
We pick each others peeling skin from our sweltering rooftop.
Golden hour. Supply and demand. Golden hour!
Fires and riots and looting, and helicopters and we celebrate everything the Great Lights ever brought us.
Who will govern the day?
I would expect some sound. Like the flipping of a great switch and the echo that follows.
But the world is filled with silence as our great sun…goes out.
And we fade to black.
Why does it feel so freeing to shave your own head?
And why am I so bad at it?
Here’s some pictures I just got developed of our trip in Turkey.
You like?
Also, the dudes in Advent just released a new album yesterday, that you should listen to.
Tony posted one of the farm videos!
It’s my favorite of the two we shot.
Check it out!

So it’s been a bit since the last post.
Sorry.
Here are some stills from the stuff I shot with Tony Adams last week.
I’m not posting the videos myself, but once Tony gets them online, I’ll be sure to put them up here.
